Wordless Weekend

January 2, 2010

We got back from our trip to New Orleans in just enough time to play in the 7 or 8 inches of fresh snow. Mommy doesn’t own a snow suit, so she was the designated photographer. The girls shoveled, made snow angels, and tried to bury Daddy in the snow.

Izzy was very excited to make her first snow angel.
In some spots, the snow was really deep!!
Thank goodness Daddy knows how to work the snowblower! Hooray!

We need a snow blower. We've got that old fashioned thing they call a shovel out in our shed. I hate shoveling the driveway. A snow blower would be awesome.

Every time I read or hear the word snowblower I hear the following movie quote:

"Your Momma was a snowblower" as said by Number 5in the movie Short Circuit.

    I know….total geek.

I would often send the babysitter out in the snow with my kids while I stayed inside or, on occasion I'd run out and take a few quick pics and then return to the warmth of the house. I can so relate to this post!

Who needs Snow Angels when you have a couple of every day Angels???

I thought of you yesterday, hubs did a quick trip to MO side to help a friend move his mom. Yeah, all in one day, NUTS!!! Took them 6 hours or so to get out there and a little more home because they brought a camper back.

    Have a wonderful weekend dear.

Looks like so much fun. My boys are sad that they can't play in the snow this year, though I've reminded them that they are able to play outside a lot more now(my tolerance for playing out in the cold stuff is not very high)

Wow! Thank goodness for that snowblower huh?

Snow is really starting to give me the chills -is that a sign of age perhaps? Or maybe all the money I shell out each year for a guy to come and plow me out?

Oh Florida….I'll be there soon…well hopefully!
